Hello, welcome to Pigott's Playpen! Thank you for taking the time to stop in and take a peek at my babies. I have been reborning now for almost 6 years now. My sister is the one who introduced me to the art, and I have been hooked ever since. I initially started out with oils, and now use the Genesis Heat Set paints on my babies. After beginning on mostly Berenguer Dolls, I have moved on to doll kits by wonderful artists such as Tamie Yarie, Tasha Edenholm, Elly Knoops, Adrie Stoete and Shawna Clymer. I never stop looking for new babies to reborn.
Reborning is an art, not just a hobby. It takes many hours to complete a baby. Many hours go into the coloring using Genesis Heat Set paints to get that ''living skin'' that you see on these precious little darlings. It is so amazing to see a vinyl (or silicone/vinyl) doll become a real ''life like'' baby that you can love and cherish. It's so fun to play dress up with these babies. Having 3 boys, I love to play with the little girls. I have truly reverted back to my second childhood!
These dolls are no longer toys, but precious heirlooms to hand down for generations. These reborns are meant for adult Mommy's and Daddy's. Each baby that is sold is sent with a special care sheet on the Do's and Dont's of care taking. A Rebirth Certificate signed by me. I hope you enjoy what you see.

I am fairly new to sculpting. I began sculpting in February of 2009. Sculpting has been so much more than I would have ever expected. I am now able to offer a new vinyl kit to all the reborners out there! I am so excited about Carter. Carter is sleeping so peacefully! He is my first sculpt to offer in a vinyl kit. He is 20'' - 22'' long depending on what body you use. I recommend Bountiful Baby body # 3228 if you want him to have full legs or #1273 if you want him to have 3/4 legs. These bodies makes him about 20'' the perfect length of a Newborn baby. Carter has 3/4 arms and Full legs (or they also work as 3/4 legs).
